What Are Nebraska Construction Career Days?

Nebraska Construction Career Days (NECCD) are construction career education events open to ALL 7th – 12th grade students.

(Space is limited – register early!

Our career education uses hands-on activities with real construction equipment, learning while working side-by-side with professionals and instructors. This event is open to  students exploring ALL career options!  Parents/guardians, educators, and administrators are welcome to attend!

This is a tremendous opportunity for students to see first hand what the exciting, growing, and dynamic construction industry has to offer, including construction careers, scholarships, internships and apprenticeships, college life, and more!

At NECCD we encourage frank dialogue with professionals and instructors.  We also implore to the students to continue their educations emphasizing that resources are available to make college a reality for them – especially a career in the construction industry.

Today’s construction careers are very rewarding, high paying, demanding, fast paced, and safety driven.  Now more than ever, the construction industry needs people interested in learning, capable of physical and academic skill execution in a variety of environments and conditions.  We invite students to see this for themselves while getting their hands on the tools and materials of the trade!

NECCD events occur in these locations across the state. Register to attend NECCD 2017 today – space is limited!
